Zi Series (Carb P2 and E0) Plywood
CARB-certified plywoods are zero-emission and eco friendly plywood that is verified and certified by California air resources board.
E0-emission grade plywood is better for the environment compared to regular plywood because it releases fewer harmful chemicals. However, this type of plywood usually costs more because it uses special glue that doesn’t have formaldehyde, a chemical that can be harmful.
This (E0) zero emission plywood does not contain formaldehyde, a chemical that products toxic emissions, hence CARB-certified plywoods are pollution free and this body governs air quality and researches causes and solutions to air pollution.
The rule limits formaldehyde emissions from hardwood plywood, as well as household and other finished goods containing these products manufactured or sold in California.
